We start HERE -- Creating the Perfect Alter Ego

First, a 30-minute Initial Strategy Session, to locate the wants, needs, and goals you wish this campaign to achieve. Next comes the Character Bio. Born from the strategy session and client/creator Q and A, everything about your superhero is addressed here. Each developed character – whether it be TV, film, animation, or comics – has a background story which explains everything they do, and each action they take. And, though this character will be based on you, it should own its own particular set of rules and nuances. After all, it IS your alter ego. From here, Conceptual Sketches (rough sketches), work up the ideas, style, and content laid forth by the session and the bio, consisting of quick pencils emailed to the client for feedback and review. Once a style is approved, the Pencilwork proceeds, finalizing detail and design, From there, Ink and Color completes the design, and the composition of the Model Sheet introduces you to 14-16 action poses, static stands, and facial expressions that can be utilized right away in print advertising, in-store PoS displays, and textile production.

Some might find the “Original” plan sufficient for their marketing needs. But, as mentioned previously, Operation SuperSomething is capable of SO much more... and so is BeelineMedia --
YOUR HERO NOW COMPLETE, LET THE OPERATION COMMENCE...BUT FIRST:

The “Original” campaign is a required foundation for the higher tier selections (can’t have a campaign without the character), so it's a prerequisite for the following campaigns. For example, if you'd like to order the "Action" campaign, you must order the "Original" + the "Action". The only exception is when the superhero has been designed previously via the “Original”, and the client returns at a later date and orders a campaign.

Content for Print and Internet

In the Campaign Strategy Session specific to the “Action” package, we go over what goals you’re looking for this campaign to achieve. Each campaign owns a unique construction of content and manner of distribution, so even though a strategy session was included in the “Original”, this session will include topics relevant to only the “Action” campaign. From here, we move to several options.

Choose one or choose all:

Action “screenshots”. Just like photos from a film or images from animation, we place your superhero in action shots, complete with background, product, and supporting characters. These can be used on Twitter, LinkedIn. Instagram, Facebook Business Pages, Pintrest, etc. for social promotion. Anywhere you can upload a photo, upload these instead. You'll have clients wondering if you've landed a cameo in a new animated film.

Web/Print Advertising. Website ad banners, Facebook business pages, direct email, traditional print advertising, PoP displays, BeelineMedia can do it all... from concept to creation. In addition, keeping everything in-house maintains a consistent campaign vibe, technical continuity, and money-saving efficiency.

Textile creation. Yes, Beeline can create custom shirt designs with your superhero and company logo. As with the “Original “ plan, we go from brainstorming to roughs to final design. Minimum 25 shirts. (Note: For complex designs, out-sourcing may be required)

Story”sell”ing For Your Clientele

In the Campaign Strategy Session specific to the package, we go over what goals you’re looking for this campaign to achieve. Each campaign owns a unique construction of content and manner of distribution, so even though a strategy session was included in the initial “Original” package, this session will include topics relevant to only the “Sequel”. Most importantly is the inclusion of multiple supporting characters for the purposes of narration.

Next, we tackle the Creation of a Hero Universe. This campaign focuses on multiframe sequential storytelling, so attention is placed on the construction of storylines, villains, predicaments your clients might face, and interesting ways your hero saves the day -- basically, an entire world built around your superhero. Bring employees and family members in to the mix, if you'd like.

From here, we move to a couple of choices:

Action Strips. A unique and captivating device for keeping your clientele connected with products and services! 6 or 8-panel action strips featuring your superhero, that can be distributed via direct email sources such as Constant Contact or MailChimp. These works can also be utilized for application in print advertising, both for serialized weekly/monthly ads and in-store features. Imagine potential clientele waking up in the morning, opening their email, and finding an entertaining action/comic strip (featuring you) that's guaranteed to start their day off with a smile.

Mini Comic Book. A 4 to 6 page comic book, that can be printed or designed as a PDF eBook. The length and number of panels allows for a more complete story, more characters to employ, and better detail in both the narrative and the artwork. This is a fantastic option if you're promoting a new service, revealing a brand new product, or opening a new location and wish to send out an amazing first impression while punching home an incredible WOW factor.
Your Animated “Show”

This is the big one. The motherload! It's also the one with the most potential. Here, we quite literally turn you into an animated superhero, and with it your own "show".

In the Campaign Strategy Session specific to the "Director's Cut", we go over what goals you’re looking for this campaign to achieve. Each campaign owns a unique construction of content and manner of distribution, so even though a strategy session was included in the initial “Original” package, this session will include topics relevant to only the “Director's Cut”. The "Director's Cut" is the most complex and costly of the options, so getting everything in order and ramping up before we hit the ground running will minimize stumbles along the way, saving time and money.

Next, we tackle the Creation of a Hero Universe. Like, the “Sequel”, this campaign focuses on sequential storytelling, so focus is placed on the construction of storylines, villains, predicaments your clients might face, and interesting ways your hero saves the day are in order -- basically, an entire world built around your superhero. But unlike “Sequel”, movement and voices are to be added to the mix, as well as more detailed backstories for all supporting, recurring characters and villains (though not nearly as detailed as the superhero character bio).

The Script and Storyboard follow. The script will be based on a chosen storyline and selected characters, and run approx. 60-120 seconds in length. The storyboard will support the script. Generally pencilwork with some shading for depth, it allows the client and creator to visually inspect the flow of the story, and gain the client insight as to what the creator has in mind for shot selection and direction.

Key and Background Art handles character layout, interior and exterior background art, props, color, and shot construction.

Production/Post is exactly as it sounds – you finally BECOME an animated character! Animation* and sound engineering*, with effects and dialogue, title sequences, end credits, output to 1280x720p for HD YouTube and Vimeo. Videos can be integrated with Twitter and Facebook for social media distribution. If you're bold, even local television commercials.

*animated is limited in design. For full-motion animation or Flash work, outsourcing on BeelineMedia’s behalf may be required.
